Children are easy to get cold, flu or cough compared to the adults, especially when the weather changes. How to relieve the symptoms, and get kids comfortable? Here are some widely known home remedies – Chicken, Ginger, Garlic, Almond & Honey:
1. Chicken. Chicken soup boosts immune system and increases Qi (life force) in lungs. It helps to fight cold and flu.
2. Ginger. Boil three or four slices of ginger in a cup of water to make a ginger tea. This is an effective cold remedy.
3. Garlic. Garlic has antiseptic and antispasmodic properties, and it also opens the respiratory passages.
4. Almond. Almond helps relieve symptoms of wet cough, and reduce mucous in the airways.
5. Honey. To teat dry cough, you can use a tablespoon of honey, the juice of half a lemon and a coup of warm water to make a tea.
