Radish (daikon) can be used as a winter remedy to treat frostbite.
1. A radish root (cut into pieces), 4 slices of ginger, 10 grams of cinnamon, 2 cups of water, boil them for 10 minutes, use it (when it is warm) to wash the area of frostbite every night before going to bed.
2. Heat a slice of radish (daikon) to warm in microwave, or you can cut a radish in half, and heat the cut face of it on the stove, then use it to rub the area of frostbite until the skin becomes red. Do this once (or twice) a day.
