There are many home remedies and natural cures for quickly relieving asthma, but if you often suffer from asthma attacks, you may need to take some vitamins and fish oil for long term treatment.
Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 has been shown in clinical studies to help with asthma. Vitamin B6 is a critical co-enzyme in human biochemistry, areas such as production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) are mediated by cellular pyridoxal and magnesium status. ATP and cAMP relax bronchial smooth muscle tissue, and increase airways diameter.
Vitamin C. Research discovered that people with asthma had low levels of vitamin C, and Vitamin C is the main antioxidant in the lining of the bronchi and bronchioles, therefore, taking vitamin C can help treat asthma. Orange and orange juice contains a lot of vitamin C. You can take orange juice right before you go to sleep, to avoid night time asthma attacks.
Vitamin D. According to a new study, low vitamin D levels were associated with worse lung function compared to higher vitamin D levels in people with asthma. Vitamin D supplementation may improve asthma control by blocking the cascade of inflammation – causing proteins in the lung.
Fish oil. Taking fish oil daily can reduce inflammation. Omega 3 fish oil fatty acids may help the lungs react better to irritants in people who have asthma. And it may also help prevent asthma. Researchers discovered that people who took fish oil supplements, increased their body’s ability to avoid a severe asthma attack by 50 percent.
To treat asthma, you also need to avoid:
1. Aspirin. Don’t take Aspirin.
2. Smoke. Quit smoking.
3. Avoid things you are allergic with. If you have allergic reactions to foods, drinks, meds, etc., stay away from them.
