It is said that whiskey can be used for treating cold, cough and arthritis.
Whisky or whiskey is a worldwide-well-known distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grains, such as barley, corn, rye, and wheat. Whisky is aged in wooden barrels, especially in barrels made of white oak. It is said that Whisky aged in oak barrels absorbs substances from the wood. It changes the chemical makeup and taste.
Whisky typically contains 40%–68% (usually 40%, 43% or 46%) of alcohol. This makes Whisky a warming remedy for various ailments.
