Here is how to make Perilla Fish Soup
Ingredients:
– Fish 300-800g
– Dried Perilla 15g (or fresh perilla 60g)
– Fresh Ginger 3 slices (cut into small pieces)
– Garlic 3 cloves (optional)
– Chili Pepper (optional)
– Soy Sauce 1 teaspoon (optional)
– Sugar 1 table spoon (optional)
– Salt 1 teaspoon (or according to your taste)
Directions:
– Fry the fish in hot oil until its color changes to crispy brown (skip this step if using fish fillets)
– Put the fish in a pan or wok, add 1-2 cups of water, and bring to a boil
– Add ginger, perilla, garlic, chili pepper, soy sauce and salt
– Cover and simmer for 10 minutes
– Remove from heat and serve
